Air Products adds liquefaction to Port of Rotterdam grey hydrogen plant

US industrial gas major Air Products is installing liquefaction capacity at its grey hydrogen plant in the Port of Rotterdam, which is also being equipped with carbon capture technology.

Expected to be operational in 2027, the company said the liquid hydrogen facility was “over 65% complete.” The liquefier’s capacity has not been revealed.
