AMPYR Distributed Energy (ADE), a prominent player in onsite renewable energy investments, has appointed Christian Bischoff as Head of Business Development for Germany, marking a key step in the company’s continued European expansion. Bischoff brings over 35 years of experience in project management, corporate PPA structuring, and renewable energy deployment. His career includes delivering more than 400 energy and infrastructure contracts, and he brings extensive knowledge of the regulatory landscape in Germany, including EnWG, EEG, and BauGB—making him well positioned to support ADE’s ambitions in the commercial and industrial (C&I) energy market.
Prior to joining ADE, Bischoff led business development at EDP Germany and held executive roles at Better4Nature, where he designed bespoke energy solutions for major industrial clients. At ADE, he will spearhead efforts to scale the company’s distributed energy portfolio across Germany, focusing on decarbonizing C&I real estate through fully financed rooftop solar, wind, battery storage, and private wire PPA models. In addition to strategic project origination and execution, Bischoff will lead client engagement initiatives, further strengthening ADE’s presence in the German market.
