Analysis: the state of play in industrial carbon capture

Transforming the global economy to achieve Net Zero by the mid-century is essential to slowing down climate change, with carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) recognised as an important part of the journey. Without it, it will be practically impossible to reach shared climate goals while maintaining industries and living standards.

One company among many that are taking on this challenge today is the US multinational Honeywell. Its technologies are striking in that they can now deliver across CCUS, covering physical and chemical solvents, adsorbents, membranes and cryogenics.
