Atlas Copco acquires JetCan in Malaysia

Atlas Copco has acquired the compressor business of Malaysia-based JetCan Engineering Sdn Bhd (JetCan).

JetCan sells and services compressed air equipment and related accessories. The business serves customers in the food and beverage, electrical and electronics, medical devices, and other general industries.

Announced today (29th Nov), the acquisition will see JetCan become part of Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique business as part of the service division. As part of the acquisition, 24 JetCan employees will also join Atlas Copco.

Philippe Ernens, President of Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique business, said, “The acquisition of the compressor business of JetCan provides an excellent opportunity to extend our sales and services in the important electronic hub located in the northern part of Malaysia.”
