Compressed air and vacuum solutions company Atlas Copco Group has appointed Håkan Andersson as President of its industrial technique business.
Andersson is currently President of the general industry and assembly systems division within the same branch of Atlas Copco.
He succeeds Henrik Elmin, who will remain with the business until September 2026 to support the leadership transition. Anderson’s appointment is effective as of 1 June.
“I am very pleased to announce that Håkan will take on this role. He is a respected and skilled leader,” said Vagner Rego, President and CEO of Atlas Copco Group.
Andersson has worked at Atlas Copco for over 15 years and has held multiple roles in the industrial technique business area, which generated revenues of BSEK 26.4 ($2.87bn) in 2025.
Atlas Copco’s technique business area focuses on the global supply of power tools and advanced manufacturing solutions.
