Bridge And Roof Company Invites Bids For ₹63.07 Crore BoS Package Of 100 MW Khavda Solar Project

Bridge and Roof Company (India) Limited has issued a Notice Inviting e-Tender (eNIT) for the appointment of an associate contractor for the Balance of System (BOS) package of a 100 MW (AC) solar power project in Gujarat. The project will be developed at Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited’s (GSECL) Renewable Energy Park in Khavda under GUVNL Stage-XXIII.

The tender covers the complete development of the solar project, including design, engineering, procurement, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of the BOS package. In addition, the selected contractor will be responsible for comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) services for a period of three years after the successful commissioning of the project.

According to the tender documents, the estimated value of the contract is around ₹63.07 crore. Interested contractors must meet specific technical and financial eligibility requirements to participate in the bidding process. The company has specified that bidders should have prior experience in executing similar solar EPC or industrial projects during the last seven years. Eligible applicants must have completed either one similar project worth at least ₹63 crore, two projects worth at least ₹39 crore each, or three projects worth at least ₹32 crore each.

On the financial side, bidders are required to maintain a positive net worth for the financial year 2024-25. They must also demonstrate an average annual turnover of at least ₹24 crore during the last three financial years ending March 31, 2025.

The tender process is being conducted through the Central Public Procurement Portal (CPPP). The bid documents were made available for download on June 19, 2025. The online bid submission process commenced on June 24, 2025, and remained open until July 9, 2025, at 4:00 PM. The deadline for raising pre-bid queries was June 29, 2025.

Bidders were required to submit the tender fee, earnest money deposit (EMD), and other physical documents by August 10, 2025, at 4:00 PM. The technical bids were scheduled to be opened on the same day at 4:30 PM. The date for opening the financial bids will be communicated later to bidders who qualify in the techno-commercial evaluation stage.

The selected contractor will be required to complete the BOS package within six months. This will be followed by a 36-month operation and maintenance period.

The tender document fee has been fixed at ₹29,500, including GST, and is non-refundable. The EMD amount has been set at ₹88.84 lakh and can be submitted through various approved financial instruments, including bank guarantees and insurance bonds. Bridge and Roof Company has clarified that bids must be submitted online, and manual submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.
