Burckhardt Compression appoints Jacques Sanche as Chair of the Board

Compression technology firm Burckhardt Compression (Burckhardt) has appointed Jacques Sanche as Chair of the Board of Directors. He will replace Chair Ton Büchner, who has served since 2020.

Sanche, who was elected as an independent Board member in July, has a track record as CEO of major global Swiss companies such as Bucher Industries and Belimo Holding.

“I have admired the key role that Burckhardt Compression is playing as the world diversifies its energy sources,” said Sanche. “It is an honour to support the great team [here].”

The company paid tribute to outgoing CEO Büchner, who is credited with helping to strengthen Burckhardt’s global market position and deliver profitable growth.
