Chris Smith Joins Indra Energy As Vice President Of Commercial Sales

Indra Energy, a top renewable energy provider, has appointed Chris Smith as the new Vice President of Commercial Sales. With over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, Chris specializes in electricity, natural gas, solar, battery storage, energy efficiency, and utility rate management. In this role, he will focus on expanding Indra Energy’s commercial business and its partner company, CGE Renewables.

Chris previously served as Managing Director at Lighthouse Power Partners, where he helped clients lower energy costs, improve efficiency, and explore renewable investments. He has also held leadership roles at Shipley Energy, DPL Energy Resources, and XOOM Energy.

Indra Energy CEO Robert Palmese, said “Chris’ leadership and depth of experience in commercial energy solutions make him the perfect choice to drive growth for Indra and CGE. We are thrilled to welcome him aboard as he brings new energy and vision to our commercial sales division.”

At Indra Energy, Chris will drive innovation in commercial energy solutions, including power management, equipment optimization, and renewable energy tax credit guidance. His expertise covers distributed solar, energy storage, efficiency projects, and electricity and gas contracts. With a strong track record in the industry, he is committed to helping clients—from homes to large businesses—make smart energy decisions for cost savings and sustainability.
