Indiana-headquartered sensing, instrumentation, and process control solutions company DwyerOmega has acquired Ohio-based precision cryogenic temperature specialist Lake Shore Cryotronics (Lake Shore).
The acquisition expands DwyerOmega’s precision temperature measurement product capabilities, while increasing Lake Shore’s commercial reach.

The company’s cryogenic capabilities, and its wider magnetics, material characterisation and cryostats divisions, have supported the quantum computing, aerospace, medical, semiconductor, fusion, and research industries for 58 years.
Chuck Dubois, CEO of DwyerOmega, said, “[The acquisition] will strengthen our technology offering, while expanding our market presence and ability to serve customers across a variety of attractive end markets.”
Dwyer Omega has an existing footprint in Ohio, with centres in Sunbury and Westerville offering manufacturing, engineering, research and development support.
