Emeren Group Finalizes Sale Of 2.8 MW Solar Project In Maine To Altus Power

Emeren Group Ltd. is a global leader in solar project development, ownership, and operation, has announced the sale of its 2.8 MWdc solar project in Maine to Altus Power, Inc., the largest provider of clean electric power at a commercial scale. This sale highlights Emeren’s dedication to promoting clean energy solutions and its ongoing efforts to support renewable energy goals across the country.

Yumin Liu, CEO of Emeren Group, said in a statement, “We are excited to partner with Altus Power on this project. This sale not only strengthens our presence in the U.S. market but also supports the growing demand for renewable energy in Maine. The project demonstrates Emeren’s capacity to efficiently deliver COD projects without compromising quality. We look forward to Altus Power’s continued success as they integrate high-quality solar assets like ours to their expanding portfolio.”

The project marks the last asset to be sold from Emeren’s Maine pipeline. The company has successfully completed its development, bringing the project to full commercial operation. After the sale, Altus Power will take over ownership and long-term management, using the project to provide clean, sustainable energy to local communities and help meet Maine’s renewable energy goals.
