Enfinity Global Inc., a leading renewable energy company, is expanding its battery energy storage portfolio with two new projects in Texas, totaling 425 MW. Construction is set to begin in the second and fourth quarters of 2025. With these additions, Enfinity’s U.S. BESS pipeline now stands at 6.6 GW. The projects, located in ERCOT’s Houston and Dallas zones, will have a combined 850 MWh of storage with a two-hour duration.

As ERCOT faces record electricity demand, these systems will help stabilize the grid and support the growth of renewables, especially for AI-driven data centers. Enfinity plans to invest over $7 billion in this sector and create more than 5,000 construction jobs in the coming years.

Carlos Domenech, CEO of Enfinity Global, stated, “We are proud to invest, power, and enable technology at an unprecedented speed, cost, and functionality in the race for global competitiveness. All while creating new jobs and making substantial investments in the United States economy.”

Ricardo Díaz, CEO of Enfinity Global Americas, stated, “Enfinity’s proven capabilities with in-house greenfield development has allowed us to expand into executing stand-alone BESS projects. This positions us to play a key role in strengthening and balancing ERCOT power grids and creating value-accretive investment opportunities for Enfinity and our financial partners.”

Enfinity Global, a fast-growing independent power producer (IPP) based in the U.S., currently operates 400 MW of energy projects. It is also developing 19 GW of solar and energy storage, with another 37 GW in negotiation. By the end of this year, the company aims to have over 1 GW of solar and storage projects either running or under construction.
