Envision Energy’s Chifeng Hydrogen Park Becomes First in the World to Earn ISCC PLUS Certification for Green Ammonia

Envision Energy, a global leader in green technology, has announced that its Chifeng Hydrogen Net Zero Industrial Park has officially received the ISCC PLUS certification—becoming the world’s first project to achieve this recognition for green ammonia with a verified greenhouse gas (GHG) footprint.

This landmark certification highlights Envision’s world-class capabilities in lifecycle carbon management for green hydrogen and ammonia production. It represents a major breakthrough for the industry and sets a new global benchmark for sustainable industrial development.

ISCC PLUS certification applies to all types of sustainable feedstocks and imposes rigorous standards in areas such as raw material traceability, GHG accounting, and social responsibility. Successfully completing this comprehensive audit confirms that the green ammonia produced at Chifeng meets world-leading standards for emissions control and environmental performance.

This achievement significantly boosts the international competitiveness of Envision’s green ammonia products, particularly in markets like Europe, where environmental regulations are becoming increasingly stringent.Frank Yu, VP of Envision Energy said: “Green ammonia is a key enabler of decarbonization across shipping, agriculture, and energy storage. This certification is a powerful testament to our leadership in the green hydrogen and ammonia sector. By rigorously managing and reducing GHG emissions, Chifeng project offers a scalable model for global climate governance and drives green transformation across the entire value chain, accelerating the global transition toward a sustainable future.”
