Envision launches ‘physical AI’ energy model

China green tech firm Envision has launched an energy foundation model which is designed to stream renewable generation, storage, grids, and demand data in real time.

Named after ‘Dubhe’, the guiding star of the Big Dipper, the model was launched at Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.

While large language models have transformed the digital world, Envision believes the next leap lies in physical artificial intelligence – AI that directly governs the physical systems essential to human survival and prosperity.

The model works in tandem with Envision’s weather foundation model, Tianji.
