The Independent Welding Distributors Cooperative (IWDC) has promoted Chris Stout to Executive Vice-President.

In April 2025, Stout the organisation as Vice-President and General Manager, overseeing the IWDC’s sales and vendor management team.

In his enhanced role, Stout will have full profit and loss responsibility for IWDC’s Distribution Centre business, while continuing to lead the sales and vendor management team.

During his tenure at the IWDC, he has led business improvement initiatives and supported growth for IWDC’s vendor partner brands and the Weldmark brand.

The IWDC connects independent welding distributor members, representing over $4.5bn in sales, to support industrial, specialty, and medical gases and related equipment end users across North America.
