Kabra Extrusiontechnik Commissions 10 MW/20 MWh BESS Project in Rajasthan

Kabra Extrusiontechnik Limited has successfully commissioned a 10 MW/20 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at Phalodi, Rajasthan, for Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (RVPNL).

The company disclosed the development in a regulatory filing submitted to the BSE and NSE on September 9, 2026, under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

According to the filing, the BESS project has been designed, executed, tested and successfully commissioned. The system is intended to support efficient energy management, enhance grid stability and facilitate the integration of renewable energy into the power grid.

The project adds to the growing deployment of battery energy storage systems in Rajasthan, as the state and power-sector stakeholders look to strengthen grid flexibility and accommodate increasing renewable energy capacity.

The disclosure was signed by Hiren Vala, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, Kabra Extrusiontechnik Limited.
