Industrial gas major Linde will build, own, and operate a new air separation unit (ASU) in Garysburg, North Carolina.
Expected to be online in 2028, the plan will produce liquid oxygen, nitrogen, and argon to customers in the region.
The acquisition of land and equipment for the site is already underway.
Todd Lawson, Vice-President of the East Region at Linde, said the company is currently experiencing growth in several end-user markets in the area.
