Ukraine-based industrial gas producer JSC Lviv Chemical Plant plans to build an air separation unit (ASU) in Bartativ, Ukraine.
The proposed facility is expected to produce around 16.4 tonnes of liquid oxygen, 2.9 tonnes of liquid nitrogen, and 730 tonnes of liquid argon annually using cryogenic air separation technology.
The facility will also include a cylinder filling station, a cylinder preparation section, and a mechanical workshop.
Development is subject to approval following an environmental impact assessment (EIA) by the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources, of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
Once operational, the facility could support the medical and industrial sectors in Lviv.
