MNRE Extends Official Support to Bharat Renewable Expo 2026 – India’s Premier Renewable Energy Event

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India, has officially extended its support to the upcoming Bharat Renewable Expo (BRE) 2026, reaffirming the government’s continued commitment to accelerating India’s transition towards clean and sustainable energy.

The event is jointly organised by the Rajasthan Solar Association (RSA), under the leadership of Mr. Nitin Agarwal, CEO, and FirstVIEW, led by Mr. Varun Gulati, CEO. The Expo will be held from 16–18 January 2026 at Jaipur, Rajasthan, and is positioned to be India’s largest and most comprehensive renewable energy event.

The three-day event will bring together the entire clean energy value chain — including policymakers, investors, manufacturers, innovators, and industry leaders — to exchange ideas, showcase innovations, and explore investment opportunities in India’s rapidly growing renewable sector.

A host of eminent dignitaries are expected to attend, including Shri Om Birla, Hon’ble Speaker of Lok Sabha; Shri Pralhad V. Joshi, Hon’ble Union Minister, MNRE; Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Hon’ble Union Minister of Law & Justice; Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan; Shri Jhabar Singh Kharra, Hon’ble Minister, Urban Development & Housing, Rajasthan; and Shri Heeralal Nagar, Hon’ble Energy Minister, Rajasthan.

The event is also supported by leading state institutions such as Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam, Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited (RRECL), Bureau of Investment Promotion Rajasthan, and Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited.

BRE 2026 will feature 300+ exhibiting companies, 200+ speakers, and attract 15,000+ visitors from India and abroad. Over 30 conference sessions will be hosted across dedicated thematic zones, including the Bharat Solar Expo, Bharat Storage Expo, Bharat Hydrogen Expo, and Bharat EV Expo.

Mr. Nitin Agarwal, CEO, Rajasthan Solar Association, said “MNRE’s official support is a strong testament to Bharat Renewable Expo’s growing impact in India’s clean energy ecosystem. This partnership reinforces our shared goal of driving innovation, investment, and collaboration to accelerate the renewable transition.”

Mr. Varun Gulati, CEO, FirstVIEW, added “BRE 2026 will unite thought leaders, investors, and innovators on one stage — driving progress and positioning India as a global renewable powerhouse. With MNRE’s endorsement, the event will reach new heights of scale and significance.”

The Expo is supported by key industry players, including Gautam Solar (Platinum Sponsor), Saatvik Green Energy Limited (Module Technology Partner), Usha Shriram Solar (Gold Sponsor), and AEREM Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (Onsite Branding Partner). Association partners include FORTI, RCCI, FIEO, ALEMAI, UCCI, and other prominent trade bodies.

Positioned as India’s premier platform for clean energy advancement, Bharat Renewable Expo 2026 aims to accelerate the nation’s transition toward a sustainable future. The event is envisioned as a catalyst for collaboration, innovation, and investment across the renewable energy value chain.
