The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has provisionally enlisted additional solar PV models for several companies in its Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM). These companies include FS India Solar Ventures Private Ltd., ReNew Photovoltaics Private Limited, Bluebird Solar Private Limited, and Australian Premium Solar (India) Pvt. Ltd.
FS India Solar Ventures Private Ltd. applied for the provisional enlistment of an additional solar PV model in ALMM List-I. After reviewing the application, MNRE has granted provisional enlistment as per the guidelines issued on May 10, 2023. The company already has an enlisted capacity of 3,212 MW per year and has applied for the same capacity again. The final enlistment will be done later, subject to compliance with all necessary conditions, guidelines, and government scrutiny. However, MNRE, the Government of India, NISE, or any of their officials will not be responsible for any losses or damages related to models that have been granted provisional enlistment but fail to secure final enlistment. This decision has been taken with the approval of the competent authority.
Similarly, ReNew Photovoltaics Private Limited has also received provisional enlistment for an additional solar PV model in ALMM List-I. The company has an existing enlisted capacity of 2,842 MW per year and has applied for the same capacity again. The final approval will depend on compliance with the ALMM guidelines and further evaluation by the government. The government or its agencies will not be liable for any issues related to the enlisted models if they do not secure final approval. The decision has been approved by the relevant authorities.
Bluebird Solar Private Limited has also been granted provisional enlistment for an additional solar PV model under ALMM List-I. The company has an enlisted capacity of 106 MW per year and has applied for an increased capacity of 1,000 MW per year. The final enlistment will be subject to fulfilling the necessary conditions and government review. MNRE and its associated agencies are not responsible for any potential losses or liabilities if the models fail to obtain final enlistment. The competent authority has approved this decision.
Australian Premium Solar (India) Pvt. Ltd. has received provisional enlistment for an additional solar PV model in ALMM List-I. The company already has an enlisted capacity of 287 MW per year and has applied for an increased capacity of 400 MW per year. The final enlistment will be processed once the company meets all prescribed conditions and is reviewed by the government. Any risks or losses associated with models that do not receive final enlistment will not be the responsibility of MNRE or other government agencies. This enlistment has been approved by the competent authority.
These provisional enlistments are an important step in expanding solar PV manufacturing in India, ensuring compliance with MNRE guidelines, and supporting the growth of renewable energy.
