Australia-headquartered gas specialist OxAir Gas Systems is supporting Australian mining sector operations with on-site nitrogen generators for filling truck tyres.
By replacing traditional compressed air with high-purity nitrogen, OxAir systems reduce the risk of tyre fires, preventing blowouts and avoiding costly delays.
Moisture is eliminated from the inflation process, and internal corrosion is limited since nitrogen is inert, so improving performance in demanding environments.
Nitrogen-filled tyres run cooler in extreme temperatures and remain inflated for longer.
