The Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited (RRECL) has issued a tender for the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of 511 MW rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) projects across State Government buildings in Rajasthan. The project includes comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) for a period of 25 years following commissioning.

The tender covers installations at various state government buildings across Rajasthan, with a total allocated capacity of 511 MWp, distributed based on circle-wise demand as detailed in the tender annexures. Bidders can quote for capacities ranging from a minimum of 5 MWp to a maximum of 100 MWp. A bid security of ₹8,70,000 per MW is required, equating to 2% of the benchmark project cost, as determined by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).

Key financial requirements include a non-refundable bid document fee of ₹5,900 (inclusive of 18% GST) and an e-procurement charge of ₹2,500 per bidder. Bids remain valid for 180 days from the opening of technical proposals.

The deadline for bid submission is January 20, 2025, and the technical bids will be opened the following day.

With an estimated project value of ₹2,223 crore, this initiative is part of Rajasthan’s efforts to promote sustainable energy and reduce dependency on conventional power sources. Interested companies are encouraged to participate in this significant step toward a greener future.
