Rays Power Infra And Hetvi Construction Win 250 MW Solar EPC Projects In Assam

Rays Power Infra and Hetvi Construction have emerged as winners in the Assam Power Distribution Company Limited’s (APDCL) engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) auction for setting up 250 MW of solar power projects in Karbi Anglong, Assam.

Each company secured a capacity of 125 MW. The tender for these projects was issued in 2024 and is part of the larger plan to develop 1 GW of solar power capacity in the region. The scope of work includes design, engineering, procurement, erection, testing, and commissioning on a turnkey basis, along with three years of operation and maintenance.

As per the contract, each lot must maintain a DC capacity of 181.25 MW and an AC capacity of 125 MW, ensuring a minimum annual generation of 267.05 million units and maintaining a performance ratio of at least 81%. Hetvi Construction Limited’s share of the project is valued at around ₹7.4 billion.
