SECI Partners with MDoNER to Launch Rooftop Solar Projects under PM Surya Ghar Yojana

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER) to implement grid-connected rooftop solar projects across various organizations, departments, and buildings under MDoNER.

The collaboration is part of the PM Surya Ghar Yojana, a government initiative aimed at promoting solar energy adoption and enhancing energy access in the region. SECI will oversee the implementation of these rooftop solar systems, marking a significant step in the push toward renewable energy in the North Eastern region.

This initiative aligns with the government’s broader strategy to expand renewable energy capacity and support sustainable development in the region.
