Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI), a Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, achieved significant financial milestones in the fiscal year 2024-25. According to the audited standalone results for the year ending March 31, 2025, SECI recorded a revenue from operations of ₹15,185.10 crore and a Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₹501.92 crore. This marks a notable increase compared to the previous year’s revenue of ₹13,035.07 crore and PAT of ₹436.03 crore for FY 2023-24.

Shri Santosh Kumar Sarangi, IAS, Secretary of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and Chairman & Managing Director (Additional Charge) of SECI, highlighted that this strong financial performance underscores the corporation’s focus on financial discipline and effective delivery. He noted that crossing the ₹15,000 crore revenue and ₹500 crore PAT benchmarks is a significant achievement that enhances SECI’s capacity to support large-scale clean energy initiatives. These include emerging sectors like energy storage, green hydrogen, and offshore wind power.

SECI’s growth is driven by its expanding role in power trading, project execution, and implementing government schemes. With its Navratna status and a robust project pipeline, SECI continues to be a vital player in India’s clean energy transition and future sustainable development goals.
