Solar & Storage Confex Uttar Pradesh 2025 – Accelerating the State’s Clean Energy Revolution in Lucknow  

The Solar & Storage Confex Uttar Pradesh 2025 unfolded with great enthusiasm at the Taj Mahal Hotel, Lucknow, setting the stage for an impactful day of insights, networking, and collaboration. The event brought together more than 250 industry leaders, policymakers, innovators, and experts dedicated to driving Uttar Pradesh’s renewable energy transformation.

The conference commenced with an inspiring Opening Address by Shri Inderjit Singh, IAS, Director, Uttar Pradesh New & Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA), who highlighted the state’s growing momentum and commitment toward achieving ambitious solar capacity targets.

This was followed by a powerful Keynote Address delivered by Shri Manish M. Chaudhari, Joint Chief, Engineering Division, Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC), and Mr. Varun Gulati, CEO, FirstView Group. Both speakers emphasized the importance of collaborative policy frameworks, technological innovation, and sustained investment to ensure scalable, sustainable energy growth across Uttar Pradesh.

Adding a knowledge-rich dimension to the conference, Mr. Jaideep Saraswat, Associate Director, Vasudha Foundation India, delivered an insightful Knowledge Presentation on “Powering Progress: Uttar Pradesh’s Roadmap from 2,000 to 22,000 MW Solar by 2027.” His address provided valuable perspectives on the state’s evolving energy ecosystem and strategic opportunities for growth.

A key highlight of the day was the official launch of the Uttar Pradesh Energy Expo 2026, announced in the presence of senior officials and industry stakeholders.We were glad to witness this significant moment, marked by the launch of the Uttar Pradesh Energy Expo 2026 by Mr. Varun Gulati, CEO, FirstView Group, and Mr. Parag Mishra, President, Solar Energy Vendors Association, both of whom serve as steering committee members for this exclusive event. Our other steering committee member, Mr. Atul Srivastava, Sr. Regional Director, UP State Chapter, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, although not present during the launch, extended his heartfelt wishes and support for the success of the upcoming Expo.

The day also featured two engaging Panel Discussions that explored the state’s solar advancement and technology adoption:
1. “From Rooftops to Rural Grids: UP’s Solar Future with PM Surya Ghar Adaptation & PM KUSUM”
2. “From Innovation to Execution: Technology Pathways for Solar & Storage in UP.”

Both sessions saw active participation from sector leaders and stakeholders who shared actionable insights on policy, financing, and implementation strategies to accelerate solar deployment across urban and rural landscapes.

The conference hosted a vibrant exhibition zone, buzzing with interactions and live demonstrations where leading companies showcased cutting-edge solar and storage technologies. Attendees exchanged ideas, explored collaborations, and discussed opportunities to strengthen Uttar Pradesh’s renewable energy capacity and sustainability goals.

Adding distinction to the event, Shri Randhir Kumar Gupta, Deputy Director, Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (UPERC), graced the occasion as Guest of Honor and felicitated the winners of the Solar & Storage Expo Energy Excellence Awards.

The event concluded with a grand Awards Ceremony, celebrating the visionaries and innovators shaping Uttar Pradesh’s renewable energy future.
