Stonehenge Capital Fuels Green Future With New Renewable Energy Fund

Stonehenge Capital, a top national tax credit syndicator, has closed its latest renewable energy tax equity fund. This fund, worth nine figures, is the company’s 21st tax equity fund and its first to include multiple projects and investors under the Investment Tax Credit (ITC) program. The fund is backed by major national insurance companies with extensive experience in tax equity investments.

Whitney LaNasa, Senior Managing Director at Stonehenge Capital, mentioned “The successful closing of this fund marks an important milestone for Stonehenge — with more than 20 funds our record of success is one we are tremendously proud of! We believe this will be the first of many multi-investor ITC funds that will allow us to fill a gap in the tax equity market, while providing fund investors diversification and compelling risk-adjusted returns.”

Stonehenge is now looking for solar projects or solar-plus-storage projects over 50 MW that qualify for 2025 investment tax credits. The company plans to launch its next multi-investor tax equity fund in Q2 2025 for 2026 projects. A leader in federal tax equity and transferable tax credits, Stonehenge has facilitated nearly $2 billion in single and multi-year taxpayer commitments.
