Suzlon Energy Appoints Manjari Upadhye as President – Renewable Energy Asset Management Services

Suzlon Energy Limited has appointed Ms. Manjari Upadhye as President – Renewable Energy (RE) Asset Management Services (AMS), effective September 4, 2026. The appointment has been made in accordance with the disclosure requirements under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

As part of her new role, Upadhye will serve as a Senior Managerial Personnel (SMP) and will report directly to the Group Chief Executive Officer of Suzlon Energy Limited. She has joined the company as a full-time employee and will be responsible for driving the company’s renewable energy asset management services business.

Upadhye brings 27 years of end-to-end P&L leadership experience across India, the United States and the Asia-Pacific region. Before joining Suzlon Energy, she was associated with the Auto Division of Mahindra & Mahindra. Her earlier professional experience includes leadership roles at Welspun, Amazon.com, Danone, Mondelez (Cadbury), PepsiCo and Colgate-Palmolive, including positions as CEO.

She holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi. Her expertise spans consumer behaviour, services management, brand building, distribution expansion and margin-accretive growth, with experience across businesses ranging from startups to organizations with revenues of up to $10 billion.

Suzlon Energy stated that Upadhye’s appointment strengthens its senior leadership team as the company continues to develop its renewable energy asset management capabilities. The company also confirmed that she has no relationship with any of the directors on its Board.

The regulatory intimation was signed by Geetanjali S. Vaidya, Company Secretary of Suzlon Energy Limited, and submitted to the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited on September 4, 2026.
