Tamil Nadu has awarded 1,400 MWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) capacity to Eagle Infra India and OPG Power Ventures. The large-scale storage allocation strengthens grid reliability, supports renewable integration, and marks a major step in the state’s strategy to enhance flexible and dispatchable clean power.
