Torrent Power Achieves Full Commissioning Of 300 MW Solar Power Plant In Gujarat

Torrent Saurya Urja 2 Private Limited (TSU2), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Torrent Power Limited, has successfully achieved the full commissioning of its 300 MW solar power plant. The Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) issued a certificate dated January 24, 2025, confirming the plant’s commissioning as of December 15, 2024. This milestone marks an important achievement for TSU2 in contributing to the renewable energy sector.

The commissioning was confirmed at 4:00 PM IST on January 30, 2025. This plant is expected to enhance the company’s renewable energy portfolio and further support the transition to clean energy. The certification from GEDA is a significant step in the company’s ongoing efforts to increase its solar energy capacity and meet energy demands sustainably. The company has formally disclosed this development under the guidelines set forth by the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
