Trinasolar announced that its Vertex N Shield module has received the PV Module Comprehensive Reliability Award at the 11th TÜV Rheinland “All Quality Matters” Solar & ESS Congress 2025, recognizing the exceptional durability and reliability of Trinasolar’s modules.

TÜV Rheinland evaluated modules across five key parameters: thermal cycling, mechanical load and dynamic stress, UV exposure and humidity-freeze, damp heat, and PID. The Vertex N Shield achieved a remarkable score of 94, ranking first in every category and outperforming competing modules, fully validating its long-term reliability.

The award-winning module features advanced i-TOPCon technology, 25% thicker glass, and 2.5 times greater resistance to energy impact compared to conventional modules. It can withstand 75mm hail at a 60° angle, certified by RETC, and its innovative frame design enhances load-bearing capacity, further improving stability and safeguarding PV power plant assets.

Earlier, in June 2025, RETC had recognized the module as a “High Achiever” in multiple reliability tests, including TC600, DH2000, SDML, and PID.
