On November 25th, Sungrow celebrated the premiere of its brand story film, *Bridge to a Sustainable Future*, alongside a PhD Talk event. The film highlights Sungrow’s journey in creating a bridge to a greener future through innovation in clean energy. It focuses on five key areas: solar power, wind energy, energy storage, electric vehicles and charging infrastructure, and hydrogen energy. These domains are crucial in advancing clean energy conversion, driving innovative approaches to energy use, and improving the overall user experience. Sungrow’s vision is to make “Clean Power for All” a reality, empowering a sustainable future for everyone.

Sungrow kicked off its inaugural Global Brand Week from November 25 to 29, aiming to foster innovation and increase brand recognition. The event brought together global stakeholders through a blend of virtual and in-person activities, such as brand story exhibitions, knowledge-sharing sessions, and volunteer meetups. On November 25th, around 300 attendees, including industry experts, analysts, customers, academics, and media, gathered at Sungrow Tower. Meanwhile, nearly 100,000 online viewers participated in the live stream, engaging in insightful discussions and presentations focused on the company’s commitment to a sustainable future.

As the global energy landscape evolves, emerging energy companies must focus on technological innovation and market trends while integrating advanced technology to enhance their competitive edge and drive long-term value. The advancement of clean energy technologies also underscores the importance of resource conservation, environmental stewardship, community engagement, and a human-centered approach.

In a discussion on the future of grid-forming technology, Weichun Li, Vice President of Global Power Electronics and General Manager of Solar & Commercial Products for Greater China at TÜV Rheinland Group, conversed with PhD Yongheng Yang, ZJU100 Professor, and PhD Chao Hu, Simulation Business Head of Sungrow’s PV & ES Technology Platform’s Grid Technology Center.

They highlighted groundbreaking applications, such as the world’s first offshore grid-forming energy storage project, and emphasized the significant role of battery cell capacity standards and solar power installations in reinforcing the value of clean energy. This collaborative effort aims to create a bridge between a green ecosystem and a more sustainable future. With the rapid integration of solar power, energy storage, and electric vehicle (EV) charging technologies, new energy infrastructure is continually evolving.

PhD Tianyang Jiang, Vice President of Sungrow’s EV Charging Division, also shared insights into the industry’s first isolated air-cooling technology and its potential to improve the user experience. He stated, “The essence of Sungrow’s EV charging business is to connect the clean power network with the green transportation network, enabling the efficient flow of energy.”

Rui Wang, the Director of the National Industrial Design Center at Sungrow, remarked at the event that design serves as a bridge, linking technological advancements with the needs and preferences of consumers, “Adhering to long-term innovation is crucial for achieving sustainable development. Sungrow emphasizes eco-friendliness across the entire product lifecycle, focusing on green design principles throughout product design, production operations, logistics and transportation, and product recycling.”

Amidst the growing global attention on solar and energy storage, hydrogen energy has taken center stage for Sungrow. Longlin Sun, the General Manager of Sungrow’s Hydrogen Product R&D Center, shared valuable insights into the company’s advancements in flexible green hydrogen production. He emphasized the eco-friendly, adaptable, and safe nature of the technology, outlining its crucial role as a cornerstone of the emerging new energy system. Sun also highlighted the wide-ranging applications of green hydrogen across diverse scenarios, positioning it as a key solution for sustainable energy.

Transforming natural resources into clean energy requires a blend of technological expertise, localized solutions, and a deep understanding of customer needs. Sungrow, with its focus on renewable energy, has delivered high-quality products and services to over 170 countries, shipping more than 605GW of power electronic converters globally by June 2024. The company integrates sustainable development into its core strategy, committing to innovations in research and development, addressing climate change, empowering communities, and generating long-term value.
