The 2025 ESG and High-Quality Development Innovation Forum, hosted by Times Media Group, was successfully held in Beijing. During the event, GoodWe, along with 12 other leading enterprises, officially launched the Supply Chain ESG Stewardship Initiative (SCSI). Representing GoodWe at the ceremony was Dr. Kenan Zhang, Director of the company’s Sustainable Development Research Institute. The initiative marks a collaborative step toward integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles across the supply chain, reinforcing a shared commitment to responsible and high-quality development.
The SCSI is closely aligned with the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), aiming to build a sustainable, resilient, and competitive global supply chain ecosystem. It emphasizes the creation of a unified, scientifically grounded ESG evaluation framework to reduce inefficiencies from redundant audits, improve compatibility, and strengthen the connection between ESG performance and financial value. By streamlining assessment standards and promoting innovation in ESG-finance integration, the initiative seeks to help companies embed ESG deeply into their operations and better position themselves within global value chains. Founding members of the initiative include GoodWe, Inovance, JA Solar, Joyson, Midea, Mengniu, NaaS, Tianqi, Tongwei, NIO, XPeng, ENN, and Zangge Mining.
