Vikram Solar, a prominent Indian solar PV module manufacturer, has secured a major order from the Bondada Group for the supply of 250 megawatts (MW) of high-efficiency solar modules. The modules will be used for a solar power project in Maharashtra, with deliveries expected to commence in the financial year 2025–26.

Under the agreement, Vikram Solar will provide its advanced N-Type solar modules, known for their high performance and superior energy output. The order reinforces Vikram Solar’s status as a top-tier manufacturer listed in India’s Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM).

The upcoming deployment is projected to significantly enhance Maharashtra’s renewable energy capacity, contributing to the state’s decarbonization and long-term sustainability goals. The development also aligns with Vikram Solar’s broader mission to advance India’s clean energy targets through continued innovation and increased manufacturing scale.

“Every project we deliver is a reflection of the trust our partners place in our technology, performance, and commitment to excellence,” said Mr. Gyanesh Chaudhary, Chairman and Managing Director of Vikram Solar. “As India accelerates its clean energy transition, Vikram Solar remains focused on enabling this momentum with reliable solar solutions, scalable capacity, and consistent execution.”

Dr. Bondada Raghavendra Rao, Chairman and Managing Director of Bondada Group, stated that the partnership is a step forward in the company’s pursuit of 10 GW of renewable capacity by 2030. “With over 3 GW of projects currently in hand and new opportunities on the horizon, collaborations like this with Vikram Solar enhance our ability to deliver purpose-led infrastructure with speed, innovation, and excellence,” he added.

In a recent accolade, Vikram Solar was named a Top Performer in the 2025 PV Module Reliability Scorecard by Kiwa PVEL, marking the company’s eighth overall and seventh consecutive appearance in the prestigious annual ranking.
