Munters raises investment in Capsol Technologies

Climate control and air treatment business Munters has doubled its investment in carbon capture tech firm Capsol Technologies to €4m.

The €2m private placement builds on a partnership that started last year to increase carbon capture efficiency and bring down costs through joint research and development efforts and testing.

Both firms are to embark on a “coordinated go-to-market strategy” to serve more projects with Capsol’s carbon capture process and Munters mass transfer and mist elimination solutions.

Wendy Lam, CEO of Capsol Technologies, said extending the relationship into a more commercial collaboration was the natural next step.
