JSW Energy Limited announced that it has successfully commissioned 114 megawatts (MW) of renewable energy capacity in September 2025, consisting of 21 MW of solar and 93 MW of wind power. With this addition, the company’s total installed capacity now stands at 13,211 MW.

During the second quarter of FY26, JSW Energy achieved a total organic renewable capacity addition of 443 MW, which includes 20 MW of floating solar capacity at Vijayanagar. Renewables now account for 57% of the company’s total generation portfolio, with 3,709 MW of wind, 2,213 MW of solar, and 1,631 MW of hydro capacity.

JSW Energy’s total locked-in generation portfolio stands at 30.5 gigawatts (GW), comprising 13.2 GW of operational capacity, 12.5 GW under construction across thermal and renewable projects, 150 MW under acquisition in hydro, and a development pipeline of 4.6 GW.

The company also has 29.4 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of locked-in energy storage capacity, including 26.4 GWh from hydro pumped storage projects and 3.0 GWh from battery energy storage systems.

JSW Energy aims to achieve 30 GW of total generation capacity and 40 GWh of energy storage capacity by FY 2030, in line with its long-term goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2050.
