Jakson Solar Inaugurates State-Of-The-Art In-House Reliability Testing Lab To Strengthen Product Quality And Innovation Excellence

Jakson Solar Modules and Cells, a division of the renowned energy and infrastructure solutions leader Jakson Group, has announced the successful commissioning of its advanced in-house Reliability Testing Lab. This significant development marks another milestone in Jakson Solar’s journey toward ensuring the highest standards of quality, reliability, and innovation in the solar photovoltaic (PV) sector.

The newly commissioned lab represents a strategic investment in enhancing product excellence and operational integrity. Equipped with high-precision testing systems, the facility is specifically designed to evaluate the performance and durability of solar PV modules and their components under a wide range of environmental and mechanical stress conditions. These include extreme heat, humidity, thermal cycling, and UV exposure — accurately replicating the challenges solar panels face throughout their lifespan in real-world installations.

By establishing this state-of-the-art facility, Jakson Solar reinforces its dedication to maintaining stringent quality benchmarks. The in-house Reliability Testing Lab will serve as a critical quality assurance hub, ensuring that every solar module produced at Jakson Solar’s manufacturing plant — as well as components sourced from suppliers — meets and surpasses both international and domestic certification standards, including IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) and BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards).

One of the lab’s defining strengths lies in its ability to perform accelerated lifetime testing, which allows engineers to detect potential failure modes early in the product development cycle. This proactive approach enables continuous improvement in module design, material selection, and manufacturing processes, ultimately resulting in more robust and reliable solar solutions.

Speaking about the new facility, a company spokesperson noted that this investment underscores Jakson Solar’s mission to deliver superior, long-lasting products that support the global shift towards clean and sustainable energy. The in-house testing capability not only reduces dependency on external validation but also speeds up product development and market readiness — ensuring that Jakson Solar can respond rapidly to evolving industry standards and customer needs.

Jakson Solar’s commitment to technological advancement and quality assurance is central to its broader vision of building a sustainable future powered by renewable energy. The Reliability Testing Lab stands as a cornerstone of that vision — offering enhanced control over the production process, optimizing reliability, and strengthening customer trust. Through this initiative, Jakson Solar continues to demonstrate leadership in India’s solar manufacturing landscape, combining innovation, precision, and sustainability to deliver world-class solar solutions to customers across the globe.
