GoodWe Headquarters Achieves LEED Gold Certification for Sustainable Building Design

GoodWe announced that its global headquarters, the GoodWe Smart Energy Innovation Center in Suzhou, has officially achieved LEED Gold certification under the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) internationally recognized green building rating system. Verified by Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI), this certification acknowledges GoodWe’s commitment to creating a world-class, energy-efficient, and environmentally responsible workplace.

The LEED Gold certification represents a significant milestone in GoodWe’s ongoing pursuit of sustainable development. The Suzhou headquarters met the rigorous standards of the LEED v4 “Building Design and Construction: New Construction and Major Renovations” category, demonstrating excellence in energy performance, water conservation, materials efficiency, and indoor environmental quality.

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is one of the world’s most respected green building frameworks. The Gold level distinguishes buildings that achieve outstanding results across all major sustainability categories — including energy, water, waste, and indoor air quality — and is recognized globally as a benchmark of excellence in sustainable design and construction.

For GoodWe, this achievement underscores the company’s commitment to sustainability beyond its products and technologies. It reflects a broader dedication to reducing carbon emissions, advancing clean energy adoption, and setting new standards for environmental responsibility within the global solar and smart energy industry.

“From the very beginning, our vision was to create a building that represents who we are:  innovative, efficient, and forward-thinking,” said Daniel Huang, Founder & CEO of GoodWe. “Earning LEED Gold is more than just an honor, it’s proof that we’re putting our sustainability values into real, measurable action.”
