Jinko Solar Showcases Tiger Neo’s Superior Low-Light Performance at WFES

At the World Future Energy Summit (WFES), Jinko Solar reaffirmed its leadership in advanced photovoltaic technology with a compelling live demonstration showcasing the superior low-light performance of its Tiger Neo bifacial solar module. The demonstration provided a real-world comparison of how different photovoltaic technologies respond under varying light conditions—an increasingly critical factor as the solar industry shifts its focus from peak efficiency to total energy yield.

The low-light performance demonstration emerged as a key highlight of Jinko Solar’s presence at the event. By gradually increasing light intensity in a controlled environment, the test clearly illustrated how Tiger Neo activates earlier, delivers higher efficiency in low and medium irradiance, and maintains stable power output as lighting conditions improve. Compared to conventional module technologies, Tiger Neo demonstrated faster responsiveness and greater consistency under real operating conditions.

This performance advantage is enabled by Jinko Solar’s advanced N-type TOPCon cell architecture, which minimizes current leakage and enhances carrier collection efficiency. These technical enhancements significantly reduce recombination losses, allowing the module to generate more energy during mornings, late afternoons, and overcast conditions—periods that often contribute meaningfully to annual energy yield.

Built on the N-type TOPCON technology, Tiger Neo III which is the most advanced product of Jinkosolar launched in Q4 2025 combines industry-leading efficiency with high power density. The module delivers up to 670 W of power output with conversion efficiency reaching 24.8%, positioning it among the most powerful bifacial modules available in the global market. Its bifacial design with 85 ±5% bifaciality enables energy generation from both the front and rear sides, effectively capturing reflected and diffused light to further increase overall energy yield.

The WFES demonstration reinforced an important industry insight: nameplate capacity alone is no longer sufficient to define module value. Consistent energy generation across diverse and sub-optimal lighting conditions is essential for maximizing project returns. With Tiger Neo III, Jinko Solar showcased a future-ready solution that combines power, efficiency, and durability—setting a new benchmark for next-generation solar module performance across utility-scale, commercial, and high-performance rooftop applications.
