KIT startup Photreon is pioneering photocatalytic panel technology to produce hydrogen without grid dependency. By directly converting sunlight into hydrogen, the innovation eliminates the need for electrolysers and external power sources, potentially reducing costs and simplifying deployment. This breakthrough could accelerate decentralized green hydrogen production and expand clean fuel accessibility globally.


Dinto Solar has unveiled its 2026–2030 roadmap focused on heterojunction (HJT) technology, targeting 32% efficiency and 1000 W-class modules. The strategy highlights advancements in cell architecture, materials, and manufacturing processes, positioning HJT as a key driver of next-generation solar performance and cost competitiveness in global markets.
