Levanta Renewables (Levanta), a Southeast Asia-focused renewable energy platform backed by Actis, has completed the construction of a canopy shelter and schoolyard for Phu Hoi Kindergarten in Xuan Phuoc Commune, Phu Yen province. The project, undertaken with support from local authorities, aims to provide a safe and sheltered space for over 40 students at the kindergarten.

The initiative marks Levanta’s second community investment project and was developed through close engagement with the local community. The newly constructed facility offers protection from weather conditions and creates a nurturing learning environment for young children.

In December 2024, Levanta officially inaugurated the project in a ceremony attended by representatives from the local village and kindergarten. This follows the company’s first community project in September 2024.

Sudhir Nunes, CEO of Levanta, highlighted the company’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility, stating, “As a leading renewable energy platform in Southeast Asia, we have a duty to give back to the communities in which we operate. Through this initiative, we hope to inspire local interest in the growing green energy sector and potentially future careers with Levanta. We look forward to launching more community projects in the coming years.”

Levanta Renewables continues to strengthen its presence in Vietnam through both renewable energy development and community-focused initiatives, reinforcing its role as a responsible corporate partner in the region.
