Solplanet Brings AI-Powered Energy Management, Thai Grid-Certified Products, and a 60MW Distribution Commitment to ASEW 2026

In its third consecutive participation at Thailand’s premier renewable energy exhibition – ASEW, Solplanet announces an AI energy management platform built for Southeast Asia, expanded PEA and MEA grid-certified products, and a formal 60MW MOU with engineering-led distribution partner Nutthaphume Equipment Co., Ltd. (NP-EQP Co., Ltd.)

Solplanet returns to ASEW Bangkok this year with three concrete announcements for the Thai market: the introduction of its AI-driven energy management platform to Thai installers and EPCs, expanded product certification for both the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) and Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) grids and the signing of a 60MW distribution MOU with NP-EQP Co., Ltd.

Solplanet reinforces its long-term commitment to the Thai market by combining intelligent energy management, locally certified products, and strong local partnerships.

AI That Works for Thailand’s Grid

At ASEW 2026, Solplanet introduces its AI-powered energy management platform — the same technology showcased at Intersolar Europe 2026 — adapted for the realities of Thailand’s energy landscape.

The platform integrates PV string inverters, hybrid inverters, and storage into a centrally managed energy system — helping customers maximise self-consumption and supporting peak shaving, load shifting, and optimised grid interaction across residential, C&I, and utility-scale applications. For installers and EPCs, this means simpler commissioning,  improved system visibility, and a single dashboard for customers across every project size.

60MW MOU with engineering-led distribution partner NP-EQP

At the exhibition, Solplanet strengthens its distribution partnership with NP-EQP Co., Ltd. through a 60MW MOU — with a portion of the pipeline to be developed in collaboration with Sino Tech Engineering, Solplanet’s lead distributor in Thailand.

NP-EQP is the commercial arm of Nutthaphume Engineering Co., Ltd., a family business with more than 35 years of experience in high-voltage electrical system design, installation, and maintenance across Thailand. The group has since expanded into solar systems, EV charging, and energy solutions — bringing a depth of engineering capability rare among solar distributors in the region.

The 60MW pipeline encompasses residential hybrid installations, C&I rooftop projects, and a national rollout targeting 1,000 installation sites across Thailand.

“We chose Solplanet because we could evaluate them the way an engineer would,” said Pattiphong Chaemchoy, General Director of NP-EQP. “The product specification, the safety standard, the warranty terms — and the people behind them. After 35 years of working on high-voltage infrastructure, we know what long-term commitment looks like. We see it in Solplanet.”

“Solar adoption in Thailand is accelerating, and long-term success depends on more than product performance alone. Installers need reliable products but also a reliable long-term partner” says Simon Sun, Senior Director, Solplanet Southeast Asia. “That is why we continue to strengthen our local team, expand our partner network and enhance our service capabilities to better support installers and customers in Thailand throughout every stage of their projects.”

Expanding Thailand Grid Certification

Solplanet continues to expand its product listing across both PEA and MEA grid regulations — covering an increasingly broad range of residential and commercial inverter and storage configurations for the Thai market. This ongoing certification effort reflects Solplanet’s long-term commitment to making its full product portfolio accessible to installers and EPCs working across Thailand’s electricity networks.

A Complete Solution at Booth G-41

Solplanet is exhibiting at Booth G-41, ASEW Bangkok 2026, 1–3 July 2026. The booth presents a complete solution across every scale — residential solutions featuring the hybrid inverter, the Ai-HB G2 high-voltage battery and the 16kWh low-voltage battery; commercial and industrial solutions with the 150kW string inverter; and utility-scale capability with the 360kW system — alongside an AI monitoring platform walkthrough and on-site registration for the Solplanet Certified Installer Program
