Juniper Green Energy Launches INR 1,800 Crore IPO; Subscription Opens On July 30, 2026

Juniper Green Energy Limited has announced the launch of its Initial Public Offering (IPO), with the public issue set to open for subscription on July 30, 2026. The company aims to raise up to ₹1,800 crore through a fresh issue of equity shares as it seeks to strengthen its financial position and support future business growth.

According to the company, the IPO will open on Thursday, July 30, 2026, and close on Monday, August 3, 2026. Ahead of the public subscription, the Anchor Investor Bidding Date has been scheduled for Wednesday, July 29, 2026.

The company has fixed the price band for the issue at ₹214 to ₹225 per equity share, with each equity share having a face value of ₹10. Investors can place bids for a minimum of 66 equity shares and in multiples of 66 equity shares thereafter.

Juniper Green Energy is also offering a special benefit to its employees participating in the IPO. Eligible employees applying under the employee reservation portion will receive a discount of ₹21 per equity share, making the offer more attractive for the company’s workforce.

The entire issue consists of a fresh issue of equity shares, with no offer for sale component. The company stated that the net proceeds from the IPO will primarily be used to reduce its debt burden and improve its capital structure. A significant portion of the funds will be utilized for the repayment or pre-payment, either fully or partially, of certain borrowings availed by the company.

In addition, Juniper Green Energy plans to invest part of the IPO proceeds in its material subsidiary, Juniper Green Gamma One Private Limited, along with its subsidiaries, Juniper Green Kite Private Limited and Juniper Green Power Five Private Limited. These investments will enable the subsidiaries to repay or pre-pay a portion or all of their outstanding borrowings. The remaining funds will be used for general corporate purposes.

The company has appointed ICICI Securities Limited, HSBC Securities and Capital Markets (India) Private Limited, JM Financial Limited, and Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited as the Book Running Lead Managers (BRLMs) for the issue. With the IPO, Juniper Green Energy aims to enhance its financial flexibility, support its renewable energy expansion plans, and strengthen its overall business operations while offering investors an opportunity to participate in India’s growing clean energy sector.
