Adani Enterprises Reports Record Quarterly EBITDA of INR 5,642 Crore in Q1 FY27

Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL), the flagship company of the Adani Group, reported its highest-ever quarterly EBITDA for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, driven by strong performance across its infrastructure and incubating businesses.

The company reported consolidated total income of ₹33,546 crore in Q1 FY27, up 50% year-on-year from ₹22,437 crore. EBITDA increased 49% to a record ₹5,642 crore, compared with ₹3,786 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Profit before tax stood at ₹1,295 crore, down 12% year-on-year, while the company reported a consolidated loss attributable to owners of ₹1,160 crore, primarily due to an exceptional charge of ₹2,644 crore related to the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) settlement. Excluding the exceptional item, the company’s operational performance remained strong.

Commenting on the results, Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, said the company had begun FY27 with its strongest-ever quarterly EBITDA, supported by the growing scale and maturity of its infrastructure and incubation platforms. He highlighted the commencement of international operations at Navi Mumbai International Airport, toll collection on the Ganga Expressway, expansion of solar module manufacturing capacity and a major hyperscale data centre order as key milestones during the quarter. He also noted that the successful ₹15,000 crore Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) reflected strong institutional confidence in the company’s long-term growth strategy.

Among the incubating businesses, the Airports business recorded 39% year-on-year growth in total income to ₹3,763 crore, while EBITDA rose 49% to ₹1,633 crore. The New Energy Ecosystem business reported total income of ₹3,937 crore, with EBITDA of ₹972 crore during the quarter.

Operationally, Adani New Industries expanded its solar module manufacturing capacity to 5.7 GW by commissioning an additional 1.7 GW production line in June 2026. The company said domestic demand continued to fully absorb its solar module production, while its wind turbine business received a Gold Medal for manufacturing competitiveness.

AdaniConnex strengthened its data centre portfolio by securing a new 400 MW hyperscale order in Visakhapatnam, increasing its cumulative contracted capacity to over 960 MW. The company also commissioned 9.6 MW under the second phase of its Pune data centre, taking its operational capacity to 65.4 MW.

In the airports business, Navi Mumbai International Airport commenced international flight operations on July 15, 2026, while passenger traffic increased to 24.2 million during the quarter. Aero and non-aero revenues grew 16% and 53%, respectively, compared with the previous year.

The roads business began toll collection on the Ganga Expressway from May 15, 2026, and added a new 620.6 lane-km build-operate-transfer (BOT) highway project connecting NH-59 between Indore and the Madhya Pradesh-Gujarat border.

In mining services, Adani operationalised the Dhirauli Mine contract in Madhya Pradesh, increasing its peak operating mining services capacity to 93.1 million metric tonnes per annum (MMTPA).

During July 2026, Adani Enterprises also completed India’s largest Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) by a non-financial corporate, raising ₹15,000 crore. The issue received subscriptions amounting to 3.8 times the base issue size, attracting participation from domestic and international institutional investors.
