LONGi Launches LONGi ONE in Egypt, Accelerating the Next Era of Integrated Solar and Storage

LONGi officially launched its integrated solar and energy storage solution, LONGi ONE, in Egypt on August 11, marking an important milestone in the company’s commitment to supporting the country’s clean energy transition. Madiha Mohamed, head of Egypt Public Affairs Sector, has participated the launch and shared insights into the latest trends shaping Egypt’s renewable energy market.

Held under the theme “Tomorrow Starts with ONE,” the Egypt Storage & PV Launch Event brought together government representatives, renewable energy developers, EPC companies, investors, industry leaders and LONGi’s regional management and technical teams to explore new opportunities for integrated solar and storage development in Egypt and the wider MENA region.

Supporting Egypt’s Next Energy Chapter

Egypt is entering a new stage of renewable energy development. With renewable power capacity continuing to grow and the country targeting 42% renewable energy penetration by 2030, the next phase of energy transition will require not only additional generation capacity, but also stronger grid flexibility, energy storage and intelligent energy management.

Against this backdrop, LONGi introduced LONGi ONE as an integrated energy solution that combines photovoltaic generation, battery energy storage, digital intelligence and lifecycle services into one coordinated ecosystem.

From PV Technology Provider to Energy Solution Partner

During the event, LONGi presented its vision of moving beyond standalone solar generation toward integrated energy solutions.

Built around “One System, One Platform, One Responsibility,” LONGi ONE brings together advanced PV technologies, energy storage systems, intelligent energy management and comprehensive lifecycle services to support different application scenarios, including utility-scale solar-plus-storage projects, commercial and industrial applications, and energy solutions for challenging grid environments.

Through an integrated approach, LONGi ONE aims to help customers improve system coordination, optimize energy utilization and enhance long-term project value.

Driving Reliable and Intelligent Energy Solutions

The LONGi ONE portfolio showcased at the event combines high-efficiency photovoltaic technologies, modular battery storage, advanced safety systems and intelligent management capabilities. The solution incorporates features such as intelligent battery management, safety protection and AI-supported energy optimization to support reliable operation throughout the project lifecycle.

“Egypt’s energy transition is entering a new phase where solar generation, storage and intelligent management must work together,” said James, president, LONGi MENA. “LONGi ONE reflects our commitment to providing customers with integrated, reliable and scalable energy solutions, helping accelerate the transition toward a cleaner and more resilient energy future in Egypt and across the MENA region.”

Strengthening Local Partnerships

The event concluded with two strategic agreements(Reestech Group and Egypta Group), demonstrating increasing market confidence in integrated photovoltaic and energy storage solutions and creating new foundations for cooperation across Egypt, the Middle East and Africa.

Tomorrow Starts with ONE

The Egypt launch represents another step in LONGi’s regional strategy to support the transformation from traditional renewable energy assets toward integrated, intelligent and resilient energy systems.

Through LONGi ONE, LONGi will continue working with governments, developers, investors, EPC companies and energy users to unlock the full value of solar and storage, supporting greater energy security, stronger infrastructure and sustainable development.

One vision. One system. One responsibility. Tomorrow starts with ONE.
