Jinko Solar Secures Supply Contract for 17.5 MWp Solar Power Plant in Egypt

Jinko Solar has been awarded a new supply contract as part of a significant 17.5 MWp solar power plant project in Egypt, developed in partnership with Misr Beni Suef Cement Co. and IRS Energy for Renewable Energy Solutions. This ambitious initiative aims to enhance environmental sustainability within Egypt’s cement production sector by integrating solar energy into industrial operations, significantly reducing carbon emissions and supporting the country’s clean energy goals.

The project will feature Jinko Solar’s cutting-edge N-type TopCon Tiger neo modules, known for their high efficiency and reliability in demanding environments. These advanced modules will play a key role in generating clean, renewable energy, helping to power the cement plant. The installation of this solar power plant is a major step forward in Egypt’s efforts to transition toward a more sustainable and energy-efficient industrial landscape.
