POWERCON Group Appoints Ravindra Chauhan as Senior Management Officer – Business Development

POWERCON Group has appointed Ravindra Chauhan as Senior Management Officer (SMO) – Business Development, strengthening its commercial leadership as the renewable energy company expands its presence across India’s growing renewable energy sector.

Chauhan brings 22 years of experience in wind energy and engineering, with expertise spanning business development, strategic customer engagement, engineering services, and operations and maintenance. During his career, he has held senior positions at Suzlon, Senvion, and InoxWind, where he was involved in business growth and the management of large-scale renewable energy portfolios.

In his new role, Chauhan will support POWERCON Group’s business development activities and work closely with the leadership team to strengthen customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and expand the company’s market presence.

Commenting on his appointment, Ravindra Chauhan said that he was pleased to join POWERCON Group and would leverage his experience to contribute to the company and deliver greater value to renewable energy asset owners.

Manoj Sonawane, Chief Growth & Resolution Officer, POWERCON Group, welcomed Chauhan to the company, noting that his experience and understanding of the renewable energy sector would strengthen the organisation’s leadership team.

POWERCON Group is currently executing full turnkey wind projects in Maharashtra and Karnataka. The projects cover the entire project lifecycle, including concept development, feasibility, design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

The expansion into full turnkey project execution marks a step in POWERCON Group’s strategy to extend its capabilities beyond renewable energy project development and take greater end-to-end responsibility for the construction and operation of renewable energy assets.
