Nordex Secures 389 MW Wind Turbine Orders in Türkiye, Including Energy Storage Requirements

The Nordex Group has secured several new wind energy orders totalling 389 MW in Türkiye, further expanding its presence in one of the company’s key markets.

The contracts, awarded during the final weeks of September, cover the supply and installation of 56 Delta4000 series wind turbines. Each agreement also includes a multi-year service and maintenance package aimed at supporting high turbine availability and reliable long-term operation.

Nordex said the turbine types and configurations have been individually selected according to the wind conditions, technical requirements and site characteristics of each project. The project requirements also include energy storage, reflecting a tailored approach to delivering efficient and reliable renewable energy generation across the different sites.

Installation and commissioning will be carried out in phases, beginning during 2027 and continuing through 2028, according to the respective project schedules.

Ender Özatay, Vice President Region Türkiye and Middle East at Nordex Group, said the orders demonstrate continued customer confidence in the company and further strengthen its market position in Türkiye. He added that site-specific turbine configurations and long-term service agreements would help customers develop reliable, high-yield wind projects while supporting Türkiye’s renewable energy ambitions.
