Senvion India Secures 54.6 MW Wind Order From Prozeal Green In Gujarat

Senvion India has secured a 54.6 MW wind power project order from Prozeal Green Private Limited under the commercial and industrial (C&I) renewable energy segment. The project will be developed in Gujarat and will use 13 units of Senvion’s 4.2M160 wind turbine generators (WTGs), uprated to 4.4 MW each, with a hub height of 140 metres.

Under the order, Senvion India will be responsible for supplying and installing the wind turbines, along with providing operations and maintenance (O&M) services for up to 25 years. The company stated that deliveries and project execution are progressing as scheduled. The first wind turbine generator was successfully installed earlier this month, marking progress in the project’s implementation.

The project will use Senvion’s 4.2M160 wind turbine model, which is built on the company’s modular 4XM platform. The turbine features a 160-metre rotor and supports hub heights of up to 140 metres. According to the company, these features are designed to improve energy generation and provide greater flexibility for deployment across different site conditions.

Once the turbines are commissioned, Senvion will support the project through its service network and FLEETPRO™, its digital monitoring platform. The system enables remote diagnostics, performance monitoring and proactive maintenance interventions. These capabilities are intended to maximise turbine availability and support reliable performance throughout the project’s operational life.

Shreyas B Suvarna, CEO of Senvion India, said the partnership with Prozeal Green reflects the company’s continued efforts to strengthen its presence in the Indian wind energy market. He highlighted the 4.2M160 turbine’s design for Indian wind conditions, its modular architecture and the company’s focus on localisation.

Suvarna also emphasised the importance of long-term maintenance and remote monitoring in ensuring dependable project performance, adding that Senvion would focus on execution from commissioning through the operational lifecycle.

Manan Thakkar, CEO of Prozeal Green Private Limited, said the partnership aligns with the company’s strategy of investing in high-performance and future-ready renewable energy assets. He noted that Senvion’s turbine technology and service capabilities would support Prozeal Green’s long-term growth in the C&I wind energy segment.

The order adds to the development of wind power capacity for commercial and industrial energy requirements in Gujarat, where businesses are increasingly investing in renewable energy to support their electricity needs and sustainability objectives.
