LONGi and IES Celebrate Landmark 6.5MW Project with First Overseas Deployment of Hi-MO X10 Modules

LONGi, a global leader in solar technology, has announced the completion of its first overseas delivery of the revolutionary Hi-MO X10 solar modules. This milestone delivery marked the supply of advanced modules for a prestigious 6.5MW Commercial and Industrial (C&I) solar project in Yemen, in collaboration with Innovative Efficient Solutions (IES), a key partner in the MEA Region.

The project, known as the HSA Taiz Industrial Complex Project, represents a significant step forward in sustainable energy adoption in Yemen. LONGi’s Hi-MO X10 modules, celebrated for their industry-leading efficiency and longevity, have been specifically selected to meet the rigorous demands of commercial and industrial applications.

The Hi-MO X10 is LONGi’s latest addition to its lineup of high-efficiency photovoltaic modules, designed to deliver exceptional energy output over decades of operation. At the core of the Hi-MO X10 lies the advanced N-type Hybrid Passivation Back Contact (HPBC) cell structure with Zero Busbar technology, an innovation that significantly enhances the module’s conversion efficiency. This cutting-edge design enables the Hi-MO X10 to achieve one of the highest efficiency ratings in the solar market, ensuring maximum energy yield for each module.

Engineered for longevity, the Hi-MO X10 is built to maintain its performance for 20-30 years under diverse environmental conditions, making it particularly well-suited for commercial and industrial (C&I) applications. In addition to its high efficiency and durability, the module’s state-of-the-art technology minimizes the carbon footprint associated with energy production, contributing meaningfully to global sustainability efforts and the fight against climate change.

Innovative Efficient Solutions (IES) played a key role in this landmark project. Mr. Mohamed Fathi Saeed, General Manager of IES in the Middle East, highlighted their collaboration with LONGi, using their high-efficiency Hi-MO X10 PV modules. IES focuses on long-lasting, energy-efficient solutions and partners with Ruya Energy to deliver cost-effective, sustainable energy to the Yemeni market.

Mr. Omar Atiyat, LONGi’s Regional Director, emphasized the company’s commitment to sustainability and resilience in the energy sector. He noted the collaboration with IES to bring high-efficiency photovoltaic products to Yemen, highlighting their shared vision of promoting green energy adoption and enhancing energy independence through advanced solar technology.

This milestone project represents a broader commitment by LONGi and IES to deliver innovative solar solutions to regions that need them most, paving the way for increased energy resilience and environmental stewardship.
