ZNShine Solar Supplies High-Performance Bifacial Modules For 67 MW Signal Ranch Solar Project In Texas

ZNShine Solar, a globally recognized Tier 1 photovoltaic manufacturer, has announced its significant contribution to the Signal Ranch Solar Project, which has a total capacity of 67 MW. The company will supply 54.648 MW of its high-efficiency bifacial modules for this project. Located at 427 Signal Road, Quinlan, TX 75474, the Signal Ranch Solar Project achieved financial closure on December 15, 2023, with non-recourse financing secured through EastWest Bank. This financial backing indicates strong confidence in the project’s potential and in ZNShine’s reliable module technology.

The project will feature ZNShine’s advanced 550W bifacial double-glass monocrystalline PERC modules. These modules incorporate multi-busbar technology, which enhances their overall efficiency, and they are designed to resist potential issues such as PID (Potential Induced Degradation). They have also been proven to endure extreme environmental conditions, including high temperatures and humidity.

ZNShine’s bifacial modules utilize a dual-glass design that replaces traditional backsheets, providing several advantages over conventional monofacial alternatives. These include a 30-year operational lifespan with less than 0.5% annual degradation and a 15-25% higher energy yield compared to monofacial modules. Additionally, the modules are certified to resist high humidity (85% RH), high temperatures (85°C), and sandstorms, ensuring durability and reliable performance in harsh climates.

The Signal Ranch Solar Project is co-developed by Adapture Renewables and Belltown Power, with SOLV Energy serving as the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractor. The commissioning of the project is expected to begin in November 2024. Once completed, the project will generate sufficient clean energy to power approximately 9,335 homes annually in Texas, contributing significantly to the state’s renewable energy goals. EastWest Bank’s involvement through non-recourse financing demonstrates strong confidence in both the project’s feasibility and the long-term performance of ZNShine’s photovoltaic technology.
